<h1><br></h1><p>The court-supervised reading of the will on Monday, July 6, brings clarity to the leadership of the Kristo Asafo Mission and the Kantanka Group of Companies after months of uncertainty and a highly publicised family dispute.</p><p>The will names Akofena as the late industrialist's chosen successor, affirming his position as the head of the Kantanka Empire. The decision is expected to bring an end to the succession battle that followed the death of Apostle Kwadwo Safo, founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission and the Kantanka Group.</p><p>Speaking after the court proceedings, businessman and Kristo Asafo member Richard Brown, popularly known as Osebo the Zaraman, said he would respect the wishes of the late Apostle as contained in the will, despite previous disagreements surrounding the succession.</p><p>The confirmation follows repeated assertions by former Dome-Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo that her father left behind a valid will to guide the administration of his estate. She had maintained that the dispute was not about ownership of the empire but the implementation of the late Apostle's final directives.</p><p>The succession process had been overshadowed by tensions within the family, culminating in a shooting incident at Akofena's residence last month in which Sarah Adwoa Safo sustained gunshot injuries. The incident remains under police investigation.</p><p>With the will now officially read, attention is expected to shift from the succession dispute to the future leadership of the Kantanka Empire under Kwadwo Safo Akofena, as supporters hope the decision will restore unity within the Kristo Asafo Mission and its affiliated businesses.</p>
