This year’s edition was held under the theme “Altar of Fire,” with the programme designed to bring Christians together for worship, prayer and spiritual renewal.

Ohemaa Mercy unveiled the 2026 edition during a launch held in August at Alabaster International Ministry in Accra. She explained that the gathering was intended to provide an atmosphere where worshippers could seek God through music and prayer.

The 2026 edition featured a lineup of gospel ministers from Ghana and beyond. They included Sonnie Badu, Francis Amo, Kofi Owusu Peprah, Ceccy Twum, Mr M, Revelation from Nigeria and Michael Mahandre from Zimbabwe, among others.

Ahead of the event, Ohemaa Mercy described Tehillah as more than a gospel concert, emphasising its spiritual significance and its role as a platform for worship and revival.

Speaking about the programme in August, she said Tehillah had become a major part of her ministry and disclosed that sustaining the free event had sometimes required significant personal sacrifice. She said she had, on occasions, sold her cars to raise funds to keep the programme running.

The gospel musician also described the event as a revival that seeks to impact families and encourage believers to deepen their relationship with God.

The Tehillah Experience has grown over the years into one of Ohemaa Mercy’s major annual worship gatherings, attracting gospel music lovers and worshippers from Ghana and beyond.

The 2026 edition marks another chapter in the singer’s continued effort to use music and worship as instruments for spiritual encouragement and renewal.
