Ghanaian-American comedian Michael Blackson has launched an anti-bullying tour aimed at raising awareness about bullying and promoting a safer environment for students in schools.
The initiative follows the controversy surrounding Javits incident, which has drawn attention to the issue of bullying.
In a post on Instagram, Blackson announced that the tour had officially begun, with his first visit takes place at John Bartram High School in Philadelphia, where he addressed students.
He expressed appreciation to the school’s principal, Brian Johnson, and his alma mater for supporting the initiative and helping him launch the campaign.
The tour involve visits to various schools and direct engagements with students to educate them on the effects of bullying and encourage positive relationships among their peers.
Blackson is also inviting the public to suggest schools that need to be included in the tour as he seeks to expand the campaign.
The initiative is expected to encourage students to speak out against bullying and help create a more respectful and supportive school environment.
