At the University of Ghana Hospital in Legon, general outpatient, specialist clinic and pharmacy counselling services were suspended amid the strike. Emergency services at the facility, however, remained operational.</p><p>The suspension of OPD services at the UEW Hospital is expected to affect patients who rely on the facility for routine consultations, medical reviews and other non-emergency care.</p><p>The hospital has not announced a specific date for the restoration of the affected services, stating only that OPD operations will resume when the GAUA strike is called off.</p><p><br></p>
